I can’t believe it is already September! The past year (August 2012 – September 2013) has been such a WONDERFUL blessing and has been full of so many beautiful unexpected gifts from God. I have travelled, performed, made new friends, and checked off so many things from my Life List. At this moment, I don’t have any major concerns. Sure I have student loans that need to get paid back and I need to lose some weight (what woman doesn’t think they need to lose weight) but nothing is weighing me down. God has been in action so much and for the first time I am seeing how much the Divine has been taking care of me. As a result of my own awakening, life seems to be unfolding even more beautifully.
There are few more weeks left in the production of Smokey Joe’s Cafe and I have to tell you even though I’ve only been there for two months, I am going to miss pretty much everything about my experience with working at The Greenbrier Valley Theater. My cast mates are super chill and positive, the creative team at the theater are so PLEASANT, we get to live in a beautiful country apartment, the locals are super friendly, the scenery is just breath taking and to top it all off, I get to sing and dance for people a few times a week. Who knows when the next opportunity is going to manifest but without a doubt in my mind, there will be another opportunity to do what I love.
With that said, there are a few things I would like to accomplish to help co-create with Nature. For instance, I need to pay my initial union fee of $400 so my benefits can kick in. This is a top priority since this is a vehicle that will grant me access to lots of opportunities. I also need to get back on a schedule of working on my fitness. I have COMPLETELY slacked in that area since being in West Virginia. It’s also important that I get back into some vocal/acting classes when I get back to New York. Feeding my spirit while I wait for doors to open is going to be of grave importance as well… just to keep my spirits high.
