I just got home from performing as Mama at the Theater for the New City in the production, In The Silence of the Heart. I am so tired and can’t wait to turn off the lights and go to bed. But on my way home, I couldn’t stop thinking about one thing. Love.
I love what I do so much there are no words to fully express how I feel when I perform, when I hear someone crying after a scene, the applause, the kind compliments after the show, how everything just fades away and all that exists is me and my partner.
It is so freeing and I love it.
I love what I do and I am so grateful.
I am so grateful for the opportunities.
I am grateful for the gift.
I am grateful that I finally woke up and am brave enough to share it with everyone.
It’s so beautiful and I couldn’t be happier.
